Dissapointed in Kentucky

I should have known. I should have known that a Steve Spurrier led South Carolina would defeat Kentucky. I should have known that other than Andre Woodson, Kentucky has a bunch of no-namers. I should have known that the aforementioned Woodson couldn't do it alone.

But I didn't.

I thought Kentucky was for real this year. After defeating Louisville, I thought they had a real chance to push being undefeated towards the end of the season. I thought that Andre Woodson would continue another no-interception streak.

But I was wrong.

I will say though that both Chris Smelley and Eric Norwood look good for the Gamecocks. I will also say that I thought the Cocks' defense made the Kentucky offensive line look like High School chumps. South Carolina has one blemish in their record, and that's their loss to LSU. I should have learned the leason to look beyond the record. But I drank the Kool-Aid that sports anchors around the world have given me, and quite frankly, I'm feeling a little cocky right about now. Not cocky about the Wildcats, but overly confident that South Carolina, if they play like they did last night, could beat many ranked teams in the nation.

-On another note, how about my Indians!!!!! They looked absolutely amazing, making Chien Ming Wang look like "Chump" Ming Wang. Hafner, Cabrera, Martinez, and Garko all had homeruns, and the 40 year old Kenny Lofton looked like he was drinking from the Fountain of Youth, driving in 4 RBIs vs. the Yankees. Hopefully we'll see more of the same tonight.

Well that's it for now, I'm out like Travis Henry's season. Good night, and go Tribe!
